Lisa CHAN

Registered Counsellor, Play Therapist

Lisa Chan is a Registered Clinical Counsellor of British Columbia. Her professional journey commenced in Hong Kong, where she provided vital drug rehabilitation counselling services to individuals and families. She has been a compassionate social worker for over 25 years. Her profound mission is to empower families and children to navigate life’s challenges with resilience and positivity with her commitment to fostering emotional well-being and growth. As a professional play therapist, her treatment approach aims to create a safe space where children can explore their thoughts and emotions and where parents can find guidance to support their children’s healthy character development.

Lisa's home is cozy and warm. She and her husband work together to make their family strong and loving, which gives their two sons a solid foundation. They care a lot about their kids' growth and success, and work hard to create a good environment where the kids can learn and develop their talents.

Lisa loves travelling, hiking, and cycling. This not only enriches her own life but also serves as a shared interest among her family members. The family often embarks on journeys together, experiencing different cultures and landscapes, which not only broadens their horizons but also strengthens their emotional bonds. Each member of the household cares for one another, making their home a safe and joyful place. Lisa’s experiences and compassion contribute to the harmony within this family, while her family supports her in making their community a better place.
