Katherine Yeung is a registered counsellor holding a master’s degree in Applied Psychology and a master's degree in Counselling. Being a registered counsellor, her services cover a wide range of clients, including SEN students, children in schools, and non-profit organizations, as well as providing psychological support services and group activities in an elderly home. She is proficient in various major counselling therapy such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Family Therapy (FT), and Person-centered Therapy. By employing different approaches, she works collaboratively with clients to identify their issues and restore them to normal lives. The issues could be workplace stress, interpersonal relationships, emotional distress, anxiety, depression, fear, obsessive thoughts and behaviors, parent-child relationships, marriage and family problems. She was a General Manager of a listed company group’s subsidiary in Hong Kong, managing hundreds of people to achieve company performance indicators and complete various projects. In the process, she encountered many workplace politics, long-term or sudden work pressure, and intangible pressure, deeply understanding the difficulties and anxieties caused by helplessness and pressure. As a result, her specialty is to help working women relieve their emotional problems, restore normal lives, and create harmonious families.
She is also a certified instructor for both Japanese Nagomi Art and Japanese Alcohol Ink Art. Clients can express feelings through mindful therapeutic art techniques and create harmony and a relaxed mind.
Katherine is a mother of two sons who constantly strives to learn to listen and communicate with her children, improving mother-child relationships, serving as a role model, and cultivating mentally healthy children. Her eldest son is a medical student who aspires to contribute to society, while her younger son shoulders important responsibilities as the owner of two pets.
