PT207 Crisis Intervention in Play Therapy
Trauma-informed play therapy (創傷知情遊戲治療) signifies that the therapy is based on a thorough understanding of trauma's pervasive impact and is carefully designed to support healing and recovery in a way that is attuned to the needs of children and their family. The therapy is "informed" by the knowledge of how trauma affects a child's emotional, psychological, and physical well-being. The approach guides therapists in recognizing the signs and symptoms of trauma, ensuring that their therapeutic practices do not unintentionally retraumatize the trauma survivors, and fostering an environment of safety and healing. The course will help the participants creating an environment of safety, choice, and empowerment that allows children to process their trauma at their own pace.
