PT 201 Adlerian Play Therapy I
Adlerian Play Therapy is a therapeutic approach that integrates the principles of Alfred Adler’s individual psychology with play therapy techniques. It emphasizes the importance of understanding the child’s unique perception of their world and their striving for significance and belonging. Adlerian Play Therapy is effective for a range of issues including behavioral problems, anxiety, depression, trauma, and family conflicts. It is particularly valuable in helping children develop a healthier sense of self, improve their social skills, and enhance their ability to cooperate and connect with others. By combining the therapeutic power of play with the deep psychological insights of Adlerian theory, this course offers clinical and holistic training for the participants who support children in their emotional and psychological development.
